1999 Subaru Impreza 22B STi in WR Blue Pearl.
№ 11 / 19 · 1999 MY

The rarest, widest, most homologation-special Impreza Subaru ever built — a 400-unit production run commemorating the company's 40th anniversary and its three-consecutive-year WRC Manufacturers' Title from 1995 to 1997.

400 cars for Japan, 5 for the UK, 16 for Australia. WR Blue Pearl, gold BBS wheels — there is no other colour combination. The 22B is the production Impreza most directly traceable to Colin McRae's WRC car.

2.2-liter EJ engine, closed-deck, 280 hp (gentleman's-agreement; actual estimated 300+). Aluminum hood, blistered widebody fenders adding 80 mm to the track, two doors, Bilstein dampers, five-speed Group A WRC-derived gearbox. Each carries a numbered plaque.

Risk note: Forgeries exist in the market; numbered plaque, body-tag verification, and ownership chain documentation are mandatory before purchase.
